I think it&#039;s just your &#039;spread&#039; point which is the real driver - having a shit &#039;tache is something people are (more often than not) worried about. Worried they&#039;ll be mocked.

Giving people something to talk about/subvert this (especially for blokes, who are essentially showoffs) is a massive draw. Fundraising or not - I bet if you called it Movember and there wasn&#039;t a charitable involvement, people would still do it. Yes, I&#039;m being Devil&#039;s advocate, but I bet that&#039;d be the case.]]></description>
